Group Inviter Updated (again)

Hi there,

We had found out that the texture change in the Group Inviter didn’t work like it should, this due to me (Mallory Taov) using the wrong version of the script.

Very sorry about this.

We have send out an update, with a working texture change, and we changed it.

Before you had to put the texture you wanted to show in the main prim, and it would show up in both sides where usually Abott and Costello are showing (this part didn’t work). Now we changed it so that the owner only has the touch the Group Inviter, and in chat say the UUID of the texture they want to use. This will make the texture change, as should happen, on both sides.

If you didn’t get an update yet, drop Mallory Taov an IM or notecard, and she’ll get back to you.

And you might like to know, at the moment we are working on an updater, in the future this should make the updating much easier (and only the scripts will be updated, no need to rez a complete new object).

Model It

Model It

Model It by Slave at Work (BE SURE TO TAKE THE BOX BACK ONTO YOUR INVENTORY. ONLY THE FIRST TIME IT’S NO COPY!)

Have you ever seen those models in stores, on their base? And that ugly hovertext saying “<name> has earned … L$” infront of those pants or that skirt you want to look at? Sure, the owner can turn the hovertext off. But then the model won’t know how much she/he earned. That’s annoying, don’t you think?

The new “Model It” from SaW keeps you models informed about how much they have earnt without the no ugly hovertext – everyone wins, You your customers and your models.

1. What is Model It
Model IT from SaW  is a modeling system that does not show the ugly hovertext, and it comes with a modifyable HUD. The HUD will show the model how much she/he earned.

2. What’s in the package
The package consists of the following items.

    2.1 Modeling Base
The Modeling Base is where the model “sits” on to start modeling.
The Modeling Base is copy and modify. Change the look to your liking and place as many as you like.
The Modeling Base can stay visible or be hidden when in use,.
The Model Base contains 24 model poses. These can be replaced by your own poses of you wish.

    2.2 Model HUD
The Model HUD can also be found inside the Model Base. The Model HUD must be worn by the model or they will be unable to model.
The Model HUD is full mod. You can change the background to reflect your company. Put your logo on it, etc….

WARNING!: WE DO ADVICE THAT YOU DISABLE THE TRANSFER RIGHTS BEFORE YOU PUT THE HUD TO USE. YOU WOULDN’T WANT PEOPLE MISUSING THE HUD (DON’T FORGOT THE RIGHTS OF THE SCRIPTS (5 IN TOTAL)).

The model will be given a HUD by the Modeling Base when they sit on the Modeling Base for the first time, or if they aren’t wearing the HUD. Just put the HUD you changed with your own textures inside the Modeling Base, and delete the old one of course. DO NOT change the name of the HUD!

    2.3 Model HUD Example Texture
A full mod texture of the HUD’s background. So you know how to lay out your texture. It is in targa (TGA) format and can be downloaded to your computer.
The PSD (Photoshop) version can be provided to you on request.

    2.4 Model It Manual
    This notecard.
